that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in
heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Christ called the:

the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth
of all his holy prophets since the world began.

itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious

by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the
last time.
2d) Appearing of Jesus Christ:

your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be
tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the
appearing of Jesus Christ:
2e) Revelation of Jesus Christ:

¶ Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for
the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus

1Co

Da 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold,
one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the
Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Jude 1:14 And Enoch
also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord
cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
3b) Himself:
Mt 25:31 ¶
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him,
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Joh 14:3 And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also.
3c) Apostles:
Ac 3:20 And
he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the
appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
3d) Angels:
Ac 1:10 And while
they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by
them in white apparel;
Ac 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand
ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into
heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into
heaven.
4) Signs preceding the second coming of
Christ:
Mt 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples
came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what
shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mt 24:4
¶ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive
you.
Mt 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall
deceive many.
Mt 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that
ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end
is not yet.
Mt 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers
places.
Mt 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mt 24:9
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall
be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mt 24:10 And then shall many be
offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mt 24:11
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mt 24:12 And
because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mt 24:13 But
he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mt 24:14 And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come.
Mt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see
the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the
holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mt 24:16 Then let them which
be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mt 24:17 Let him which is on the
housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mt 24:18 Neither
let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mt 24:19 And
woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those
days!
Mt 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on
the sabbath day:
Mt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was
not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mt
24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:
but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Mt 24:23 Then if any
man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it
not.
Mt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.
Mt 24:25 Behold, I have told you
before.
Mt 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the
desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe
it not.
Mt 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and
shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mt
24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered
together.
Mt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the
sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall
from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mt 24:30 And then
shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes
of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of
heaven with power and great glory.
Mt 24:31 And he shall send his angels with
a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the
four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Mt 24:32 ¶ Now learn a
parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth
leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mt 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye
shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the
doors.
Mt 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till
all these things be fulfilled.
Mt 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but
my words shall not pass away.
Mt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no
man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mt 24:37 But as
the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man
be.
Mt 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating
and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered
into the ark,
Mt 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all
away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mt 24:40 Then shall two
be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mt 24:41 Two
women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the
other left.
Mt 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord
doth come.
Mt 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known
in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have
suffered his house to be broken up.
Mt 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for
in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Mt 24:45 Who then is a
faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to
give them meat in due season?
Mt 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom
his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Mt 24:47 Verily I say unto you,
That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
Mt 24:48 But and if that
evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
Mt 24:49
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with
the drunken;
Mt 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he
looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Mt 24:51
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
5) The

Mt 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto
you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power,

every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all
kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

ye have seen him go into heaven.

upon the throne of his glory:

the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the
holy angels.

perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
2Pe
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the
heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned
up.
Re 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth,
and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
9)
The second coming of Christ is not to make atonement:
Heb 9:28 So Christ
was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall
he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Ro 6:9 Knowing that
Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion
over him.
Ro 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he
liveth, he liveth unto God.
Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected
for ever them that are sanctified.
10) The purposes of the second
coming of Christ are to:
10a) Complete the salvation of saints:
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once
offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he
appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
1Pe 1:5 Who are kept by
the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last
time.

silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round
about him.
Ps 50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth,
that he may judge his people.
Joh 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but
hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
2Ti 4:1 ¶ I charge thee
therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and
the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Jude 1:15 ¶ To execute judgment
upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly
deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches
which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Re 20:11 ¶ And I saw a great
white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven
fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Re 20:12 And I saw the
dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another
book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out
of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be
destroyed.

voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the
kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and
ever.

shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the
earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

and let us put on the armour of light.
Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known
unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
1Pe 4:7 ¶ But the end of all things
is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

doing.
Lu 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he
cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself,
and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

find them so, blessed are those servants.

God:
14b) Love the second coming of Christ:

unto all, Watch.
Lu 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be
accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to
stand before the Son of man.

of Christ:
2Th 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God,
and into the patient waiting for Christ.

early and latter rain.
Jas 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for
the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and
all dominions shall serve and obey him.
2Ti 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also
reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the
earth.

be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus
Christ:
24) The wicked:

flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the
day that Noe entered into the ark,
