Characteristics of the walk of Believers
New Life:
Ro
6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ
was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should
walk in newness of life.
Ro 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no
condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit.
Faith:
2Co 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not
by sight:)
Spirituality:
Ga 5:16 This I say then, Walk
in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the
flesh.
Consistency:
Eph 4:1 ¶ I therefore, the prisoner of the
Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are
called,
Love:
Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath
loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a
sweetsmelling savour.
Caution:
Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk
circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Col 2:6 As ye have therefore
received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in
him:
Illumination:
1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he
is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus
Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Christlikeness:
1Jo
2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he
walked.
