About Acrobat Reader User Notes:
There are five versions of Acrobat Reader available and they
are: Version: 3. / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7.
Any of these versions will give you access to SCL books. However we
have chosen to make
Acrobat Reader version 5.0 available for installation
from this CD-ROM to avoid any initial conflicts that users may experience
when installing newer applications. In this way your SCL CD-ROM includes all
the requirements to make this a fully "Stand Alone" CD-ROM
without having to go online.
The later
versions of Acrobat Reader - 6 . 0. and 7. 0. can be downloaded from
the Adobe website:
www.adobe.com Please be advised that we ask that you
first read the user guide before changing to the most recent version of Adobe Reader.
It is also important to completely remove older copies of Adobe Reader
before installing any new copies of the application.
Included with version 5. 0. of Adobe Reader as with all adobe
products are the useful "Help"
files and new users are encouraged to review them.
